Is Spike old and mature enough?

It seems I have a knack for getting on bad terms with people.
Last one in date, this one titanium-pony.deviantart.com/
So, long story short, here's the cause of disagreement:
And when I write long story short, I really mean it.
The second comment of mine, which was also better suited for debate, has been "hidden by owner".
And I have also been blocked on the premises that I stated that Spike wasn't anywhere near being mature and old enough to date Rarity.
Or any similar-aged pony, for that matter.
I suggested that as Spike is a dragon, his species would likely be longer-lived than ponies (except the born-alicorns),
and take longer than them to reach adult mental maturity.
And you now know the rest.
I thought about creating another account to overstep his block but,
after all, it isn't worth any trouble.
I first stated that I thought that Spike wasn't mature enough to date Rares,
but it seem he's not the only one with a lack of maturity.
Oh well.

Personally, I don't think the current Russians leaders want war.
I think they want to show their country is getting strong again.
But it also makes me think about the Crisis of the Missiles in Cuba, in 1962.
In the end, nothing bad happened, but it was still pretty close.
What do you guys and girls, especially the Russians, think about this?

A few weeks ago, I made a mistake.
Long story short, I saw this picture (Evil Ex) and its description mentioned
the "dumb boys dating phase" of the female character on the picture.
I wanted to say that I didn't understand this, but poorly-chosen words from my part
greatly upset commenters, as well as the artist herself.
I had no ill-intent, but I recognize my messages appeared as, and were, tactless.
For this, I want to hereby present my sincerest apologies to the artist (lopoddity.deviantart.com/) and the commenters.
Such trouble won't happen again.
